Casio unveils its new camera, the Casio Exilim EX-P600 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was unveiled in North America on the 13/2/04. The Exilim EX-P600 has for maximum resolution 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Casio Exilim EX-P600 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 5.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Exilim EX-P600 is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.8 " with a RGB color filter. Casio implemented a digital zoom on the Exilim EX-P600 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .

The normal focus range is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Exilim EX-P600 is 60 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-P600 includes an internal memory of 9 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Exilim EX-P600 diagonally measures 2.0 ".
