Casio launches its new camera, the Casio Exilim EX-Z10 which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 04/8/05. The Exilim EX-Z10 delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2304 x 1728, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Casio Exilim EX-Z10 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 5.3 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Exilim EX-Z10 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Casio included a digital zoom on the Exilim EX-Z10 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .

The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Exilim EX-Z10 is 1/8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds.
