Casio is back with its new model, the Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 30/1/07. The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 has been launched at a price of 299in the United States, no bad for all this technology. It also supports a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor of the Exilim EX-Z1050 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.75 " using a RGB color filter. Casio added a digital zoom on its Exilim EX-Z1050 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .

The normal focus range is 40 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Exilim EX-Z1050 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 has an internal storage space of 15.4 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Exilim EX-Z1050 diagonally measures 2.6 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
