Casio strikes back with its new model, the Casio QV-2100 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in the US on the 18/10/01. The QV-2100 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 800 x 600. The image ratio (w/h) on the Casio QV-2100 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the QV-2100 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter. Casio included a digital zoom on the QV-2100 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .

The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the QV-2100 is 1/4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/800 seconds. The Casio QV-2100 has an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with Internal + SD/MMC slot. The LCD implemented in the QV-2100 diagonally measures 1.5 ". There is also a video out output available letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
