Casio unveils its new conception, the Casio Exilim EX-Z60 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 21/2/06. The Casio Exilim EX-Z60 was initially targeted at a retail price of 265in the United States, a very fair price. The Exilim EX-Z60 gets a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Casio Exilim EX-Z60 is 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the Exilim EX-Z60 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.

Casio included a digital zoom on the Exilim EX-Z60 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range is 40 cm. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z60 has an internal storage space of 8.3 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Exilim EX-Z60 is measuring 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
