Casio launches its new model, the Casio GV-10 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in North America on the 11/10/01. The GV-10 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960. It also supports a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Casio GV-10 is 4:3, making a total of 1.2 mega pixels. The sensor of the GV-10 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/3.2 " having a RGB color filter. Casio implemented a digital zoom on the GV-10 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras .

The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the GV-10 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1500 seconds. The Casio GV-10 includes an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with external storage with Compact Flash (Type I). The LCD screen available on the GV-10 measures 1.6 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
