Casio strikes back with its new conception, the Casio QV-R61 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced on the North American market on the 25/8/04. The QV-R61 gets a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Casio QV-R61 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the QV-R61 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Casio included a digital zoom on the QV-R61 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .

The normal focus range is 70 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the QV-R61 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Casio QV-R61 has an internal memory of 9.7 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the QV-R61 measures 2.0 ". Connection to a computer is available through USB.
