Casio arrives this year with its new conception, the Casio QV-R62 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 13/12/04. The QV-R62 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Casio QV-R62 is set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the QV-R62 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Casio implemented a digital zoom on the QV-R62 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .

The normal focus range is 70 cm. The min. shutter speed of the QV-R62 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Casio QV-R62 has an internal memory of 9.7 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the QV-R62 diagonally measures 2.0 ".
